York Street Jail, Springfield, MA
1887 - 2008
From the end of York Street, the cell blocks are on he inside of the
prison.
A closer view of the cells.
Even if one broke out of their cell, there was still way more to go!
The over all structure is easily analyzed in this photo. There
was a definite separation between the prisoners and the world outside.
While the bricks are falling into mere piles, York Street's steel stays
in shape.
